About Physiotherapist Roma Desai

Roma Desai graduated from McGill University in 2014 with a Master’s in Physical Therapy. After working as a physiotherapist in her hometown of Montreal for a few years, she moved to Ottawa and joined the Trainyards Rehab team in 2017. Since completing her Master’s, Roma has taken many post graduate courses to further her knowledge about the human body and has obtained her certification to treat using dry needling and acupuncture. While she treats injuries of all kinds, she especially loves treating low back and neck injuries as she has taken courses to treat these areas using the very effective McKenzie method. Her passion for helping people is what has made her fall in love with her career and the joy of sending her patients home feeling better is what keeps her going. Roma has a full time practice at Trainyards and is always accepting new patients. She is bilingual and happy to help you in French or English.
